Ah, another 1am, another friday night.

Well, with help from a very dear friend and a not so dear one, I have finally managed to puncture through this block and get back on the beaten track to possible art uploading.  Regular viewers will notice a few new entries in the gallery, which is, afterall, what this site primarily is for.

In other news, my island up here was recently hit with some of the worst rain ever, causing all sorts of flash-floods and shit.  So much so that nearly all of the rain thats estimated to fall in october for the UK, fell in a 24 hour space of time.

Pretty crazy shit, up here.

I dedicate this entry to Coca Cola (thanks for keeping me up), BF2142 (Statwhore) and last, but by no stretch of least, the Rox.

I’m currently testing the new Google Reader for my website, trying to let all the new entries into the gallery and blog pop up on the front page like little.. things.

Anyways, whats new?

Well, with the reasonably imminent release of HL2 Episode 2, the valve corporation have announced new items of awesomeness for us followers of anything HL related.

Heres the Episode 2 Trailer in all its glory.

Firstly, the download/disk comes with two new games shipped, these being the long-awaited Team Fortress 2 (nine years in the making) and the rather interesting-looking “Portal”

Digging the cartoony look to this thing, actually. Was a bit surprised at first but seeing the awesomeness of the ship:source, it seems to carry itself rather well.

Portal looks.. intense on the frontal lobe. If anyone recognises the concept, it was used in a game called Narbacular Drop, Which was a freeware product released by Nuclear Monkey Software Apparently, Valve were so impressed with the small project that they took on the boys at Nuclear Monkey exclusively to develop portal.

If its as good as that video makes out, i’ll probably play it more than the actual expansion.

In Art related news, things have been fairly inconsistent of late, i’ve been dealing with a minor block which i’m slowly writhing out of. Expect some new pics here and there as soon as i’m free of the chains of anti-inspiration.
